The University of Dundee is looking for volunteers aged between 18 and 60 years old to take part in a research projected about travel pillows.
You are invited to take part in a research project to compare the design of three different travel pillows, a luxury memory foam travel pillow, a ‘trtl’ neck support pillow and the new fully adjustable neck pillow and you will be able to keep the preferred travel pillow of your choice on fully completing the trial.
The study will involve sitting in a simulated aircraft environment for three sessions of 30 minutes with a short comfort break between. The study will take place at the Gait Laboratory in the University Department of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery, in TORT Centre, Ninewells hospital.
Your neck temperature will be recorded at the end of each session and your head motion tracked during the sessions with our 3D Motion system. These devices are routinely used in clinical practice and will offer no side-effects to you as a volunteer.
The study will be running morning and afternoons from Wednesday 19th February until Friday 6th March (including both weekends). If you are interested in taking part in this study could you please either email firstname.lastname@example.org or fill in the doodle calendar (link below)
