Gail Smith has been appointed as the Interim Chief Officer for Angus Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP).
Gail is currently Head of Health and Community Care Services (North Angus) for Angus HSCP. Welcoming Gail to her new position, Councillor Lois Speed, Chair of Angus IJB, said, “Gail brings with her a wealth of experience to the role and has an excellent track record of delivering complex change and transformation of health and care services.
“Angus HSCP has already made good progress to improve health and social care services for the adult population of Angus. Gail can now build on these firm foundations and ensure that Angus continues to deliver the ambitious changes set out in the Strategic Commissioning Plan.
Gail said, “I am delighted to have been appointed to this important role. I am looking forward to driving forward further improvements for the people of Angus. There is no question that we face a number of challenges but I am really excited and can’t wait to get started.”
