Speaking about his art, Nom said, “I was born and have lived in Arbroath all of my life. My art reflects my surroundings, particularly the sea.

“I was a joiner, and when I retired I was looking for something to do in my sp

are time. I was always able to draw, but I thought I couldn’t paint. I’ve now discovered it was just because I hadn’t found my style yet.

“It has now become an obsession. Once I’ve finished one piece, I cannot wait to get started on the next.”

The gallery is situated in the main corridor of the building and is open to the public daily from 9am until 7pm. All works are for sale with 20% commission on sales being donated to Whitehills.

Situated in the main corridor, the gallery has provided space for many local artists to show their work and the public are invited to pop in and view this new exhibition.
