NHS Tayside’s Lifelong Learning Partnership recently hosted an event to raise awareness of The Open University’s (OU) OpenLearn resource, which includes a number free courses that promote personal and professional development.
Partnerships Officer at the OU in Scotland Khadija Patel said, “OpenLearn is the home of free learning from the OU and is used by millions of people worldwide every year. It contains thousands of hours of free courses and resources, all of which can be studied anywhere, anytime and at no cost, for personal or professional development.
“I hope that staff throughout NHS Tayside are able to have a look, because I can guarantee there will be something there for everyone.”
The Lifelong Learning Partnership brings together representatives from staff side organisations and NHS Tayside to promote and support lifelong learning for all staff, particularly non-traditional learners.
