Good luck to our finalists!

The finals of the Scottish Health Awards are being held in Edinburgh this Thursday evening and Tayside has six finalists across five of the seventeen categories.

Many of the finalists were also winners in NHS Tayside’s 2019 STAR Awards and Michael Carlin, who is senior clinical support worker in the speech and language team at the Centre for Child Health, is a finalist in two categories, doubling his chances of picking up an award.

Support Worker

Fiona McGrath, Health Services Link Worker, The Corner

Nurse
Karyn Cooper, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Ninewells Hospital

Global Citizenship
Kirsty Wright, Speciality Registrar, Ninewells Hospital

Chief Executive Grant Archibald said, “I am extremely proud of all of the finalists from Tayside. I would like to congratulate them on their achievements and wish them the best of luck at the awards ceremony.”
