Tayside Healthcare Arts Trust (THAT) is hosting a fundraising art auction at Discovery Point in Dundee on the evening of Thursday, 21 November.

The charity auction will provide an opportunity to own a piece of original art by well-known contemporary and up-and-coming artists.

During the evening, art enthusiasts can bid in the silent auction on a wide variety of postcard-sized artworks created by artists from across Tayside and North Fife.

Artists donating artwork include Barry Fantoni, Liz Yule, Charles Monteith Walker, Joe McIntyre, James Hall Thomson, Kate Downie, and Sandro Paladini.

Steven Dewar, of Dundee Auctioneers Curr & Dewar, will also be auctioning a selection of larger individual pieces of artwork.

THAT project development officer Karine Neill said, “We are delighted by the generosity of the artists who have contributed to our fifth charity art auction. The work and support received by artists and sponsors is tremendous and helps raise funds and awareness for THAT’s work. Participants living with long term health conditions will benefit from the programmes this will support.”

THAT delivers art programmes in partnership with NHS Tayside and local support agencies which are designed to stimulate and encourage people living with stroke, dementia, MS, Parkinson’s and other long-term health conditions.
