Transforming Tayside public event held in Forfar

Dr Matthew Lambert lead discussions on hyper-acute stroke care

The third in a series of Transforming Tayside public engagement events was held at Forfar Community Campus on Saturday.

The public events aim to enable as many members of the public to give their views about the direction of travel proposed in the ambitious Transforming Tayside 2019-2022 programme.

Consultant surgeon and clinical lead for orthopaedics Mr Sankar Sripada and consultant and clinical lead for stroke Dr Matthew Lambert hosted sessions on the Shaping Orthopaedic Services and Shaping Hyper Acute Care projects.

Attendees also gave their feedback on transport and access, and urgent and emergency care, with a focus on experiences of using services such as NHS24 and the Emergency Department as well as the challenges of using public transport for attending hospital appointments.
