Are you ready for eESS?


eESS (Electronic Employee Support System) is due to go live in NHS Tayside on Monday, 30 September for managers to use.

eESS is a single, national NHS Scotland approach to workforce systems, which brings together employee and organisational data that is already held either on paper or electronically and removes paper-­based employee, manager, HR and payroll approval processes.

eESS will replace the current paper-based system of completing Notification of Change forms from Monday, 30 September.

Identified managers with authority to authorise employment and employee changes must complete training on the new Manager Self Service process, which can be booked through learnPro.
