Researchers in NHS Tayside are celebrating after recruiting their 100th participant for the European Prevention of Alzheimer’s Dementia (EPAD) study.

EPAD is a Europe-wide study for healthy volunteers with or without early memory changes related to Alzheimer’s Dementia.

The study aims to learn more about the development of dementia and to build a platform of participants willing to take part in clinical trials to find new treatments to prevent or treat dementia.
