
A Ninewells volunteer was recognised for over 50 years volunteering service with Royal Voluntary Service (RVS).
Sally Pearson has been volunteering at the oncology day clinics in Ninewells Hospital for around 10 years and previously worked with RVS Home from Hospital service in Dundee for four years.
A Queen’s Medal is presented to a RVS volunteer after 15 years service followed by a clasp every 12 years thereafter. The first clasp is given at 27 years, second at 39 years and third clasp at 51 years.
Sally was presented with her third clasp at a celebration event in City Chambers which was hosted by Lord Provost of Dundee, Ian Borthwick.
