Patients, staff and visitors at Whitehills Health & Community Care Centre in Forfar can enjoy a new exhibition.
Running until the end of May, the new exhibition features photographs by members of the Kirriemuir Photography Club.
Speaking about the exhibition, club president Alistair Carrie said, “This exhibition showcases the work of some of our members and shows a range of subjects which we hope will appeal to those who tread the corridor here at Whitehills whether as patient, staff, family or friend. We invite you to take some time to enjoy the images and reflect on their stories and your responses to them.
“Kirriemuir Photography Club was formed in 2015 by a small number of interested local photographers keen to learn from each other and wanting to pass on their skills to others. Since then the club has grown to 45 members who meet fortnightly from September to April engaging in practical workshops, photography competitions and listening to expert visiting speakers and judges, all with to improve their craft.”
The gallery is situated in the main corridor of the building and is open to the public daily from 9am until 7pm. All works are for sale with 20% commission on sales being donated to Whitehills.
The gallery has provided space for many local artists to show their work and the public are invited to pop in and view this new exhibition.
