NHS Tayside staff are encouraged to support the NHS Big Tea and help raise funds for patients.
The NHS Big Tea is a fundraising and awareness campaign which celebrates the NHS birthday on 5 July and recognises the vital work of NHS charities in supporting our health service.
The campaign was established by NHS Charities Together in 2018 to mark the 70th anniversary of the NHS, with more than 4,000 parties taking place across the UK.
The campaign aims to encourage people in hospitals, in homes and in local communities across the country to come together with friends, family and colleagues to host a tea party and ‘raise a cuppa’ to the NHS.
It is a fantastic opportunity for staff in wards, departments and the community to get together and boost funds to improve facilities and benefit patients right across Tayside.
For more information and how you can get involved visit the NHS Charities Together website.
There are lots of useful tips and advice as well as promotional materials and recipes for the Big Tea so that your treats are not only delicious but healthy too.
So why not get involved, have some fun and raise money for patients?
If you are planning an event you must first register using a fundraising registration form which is available on Staffnet under Hot Links | Fundraising & Donations | Tayside Health Fund.
