Maggie’s is offering a workshop in Perth to help managers support colleagues and carers affected by cancer.
Over 500,000 people who have cancer are working across the UK. This figure is expected to double by 2030 as more people survive a diagnosis of cancer.
When returning to work, employees, their managers and colleagues face different and complex challenges that can have a significant impact in the workplace.
The workshop will take place at Cornhill MacMillan Centre, Perth Royal Infirmary on Wednesday, 24 April, 8.30 and for two hours. The training is delivered by Lesley Howells, Maggie’s Centre Head and Consultant Clinical Psychologist, and supported by NHS Tayside Human Resources.
