Staff at Kingsway Care Centre in Dundee donned an exciting array of hats as part of an event to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.
Staff at the centre raised more than £600 in memory of their friend and colleague Sheena MacQueen, who sadly passed away last year.
As well as a colourful hat competition, the team also baked cakes and held a tombola and quiz to raise money.
The event was held as part of Brain Tumour Research’s annual Wear a Hat Day, where thousands of people across the country don their favourite headgear and take part in hat-themed events.
Christine Davidson and Frances Taylor, community mental health team leads (older people) at Kingsway Care Centre, said they are very proud of all the staff for taking part.
Christine added, “The staff all made an amazing effort and created some unique hats! We are very pleased that we were able to raise money for such a worthwhile cause in tribute to Sheena.”
