So Long, Farewell

Sheelagh McFettridge

Senior staff nurse Sheelagh McFettridge has retired after 39 years with NHS Tayside.

Sheelagh began her career as an auxiliary before training to be a nurse. After qualifying she worked in continuing care at Royal Victoria Hospital.

Sheelagh moved to Kings Cross and worked in a few different roles including infectious diseases and respiratory. For the past 22 years, Sheelagh has worked in ophthalmology at Ninewells.

In her retirement she is looking forward to looking after her eight-month-old granddaughter Olivia.
