NHS Tayside Chief Executive Grant Archibald met members of the Developing Young Workforce (DYW) Dundee & Angus Board this week during their meeting at Ninewells.

The DYW is a Scottish Government promoted organisation, made up of partners including NHS Tayside, Dundee and Angus Councils, other local employers, and the local Chamber of Commerce.

The DYW Board plays a role in shaping opportunities for, and influencing the career choices of young people, working in support of local schools. This includes highlighting opportunities to work within NHS Tayside.

Mr Archibald said, “As a major local employer, NHS Tayside offers a wide variety of opportunities for the young people of Tayside who want a career working in health.

Equally, we believe it important that we continue to work alongside local councils and other local employers as part of our commitment to supporting positive futures for the people of Tayside.

“The important work led by the Developing Young Workforce Board makes a major contribution to achieving that aim for all our young people.”
