Patients, staff and visitors at Whitehills Health & Community Care Centre in Forfar can enjoy a new exhibition until the end of April.
The exhibition features oil paintings by Arbroath artist Gordon Tait.
Speaking about his art, Gordon said, “Over the years I have painted approximately 80 pictures. This is the second time I have exhibited paintings at Whitehills, the previous being in 2015. My family have most of my work and have encouraged me to put some of my paintings on display.
“I was born and have lived in Arbroath all my life. I am married and have two married sons, six grandchildren and three great grand children. I retired from engineering in 2005 and decided to have a go at oil painting as a past time. My favourite subjects are landscapes and water reflections.”
The gallery is situated in the main corridor of the building and is open to the public daily from 9am until 7pm. All works are for sale with 20% commission on sales being donated to Whitehills.
The gallery has provided space for many local artists to show their work and the public are invited to pop in and view this new exhibition.
