Patients, staff, relatives and visitors to Royal Victoria Hospital in Dundee recently enjoyed a relaxing cuppa at the Roxy Pot Café.
The Roxy Pot, which is located in the dining area of Macmillan Day Care on the first Monday of each month, relaunched earlier this month after a short break.
Volunteer co-ordinator Liz MacCrimmon said, “The café was well attended and offered a chance for patients, staff, relatives and visitors to take a short break away from the busy ward environment.
“The volunteers who hosted the cafe were fantastic at providing a warm welcome to all who attended, and without their valuable support, the cafe would not be able to run”.
The Roxy Pot will open again on Monday 4 March between 1.30 and4pm and patients, staff, relatives and visitors are all welcome to attend.
Refreshments are free, however any donations on the day are welcome.
