There’s still time to get the jab

We need everyone to help prevent the spread of flu this winter!  Make sure you get your free flu jab.

We have now vaccinated more than 52% of our staff against flu; thank you to every member of staff who has taken this important step to help protect our patients. It is the single most important thing you can do to stop the spread of flu in our hospitals and communities.

If you haven’t had the vaccine yet and have concerns about it please watch the video below to get the facts about flu.

There’s still opportunities to get vaccinated and help stop the virus spreading in our hospitals and communities so if you haven’t had the jab yet, now is the time!

Occupational Health will continue to offer flu immunisation up until 31 January 2019 by appointment which staff can arrange by phoning 01382 346030.

You can also contact your local community pharmacies to arrange a vaccination – please remember to bring your staff ID badge.

If you are in an at-risk group and have been vaccinated at your GP surgery we would appreciate if you could please let us know by completing our data collection form. This means we can add you to our uptake figures and get a more accurate picture of how many of our staff are protected against flu.
