NHS Tayside’s new Chief Executive Grant Archibald attended Glenlaw House open day and coffee morning which saw poster displays and cakes baked by the parents group.

He met with senior charge nurse Christine Dempster and head of nursing for paediatric complex disability services Sarah McLauchlan who gave him a tour of the facilities and described the specialist services delivered there.

Grant heard about the work of the parents group and the activities offered to help them deal with common issues that can affect carers, such as isolation.

Grant said, “I have really enjoyed my visit to Glenlaw House. I am very impressed with the facilities and the work that the staff do to support the children and the families. I found the visit inspirational and I congratulate staff and the parents group for working as one team.”
