Patients, staff and visitors in ward 4 at Ninewells were treated to a visit from Roxy the therapet.
Roxy, a seven-year-old Golden Retriever and fully trained therapet, was brought into the ward by her owner, Tina Forbes.
The visit was organised by senior charge nurse Sarah Wiseman who said, “We have several patients in the ward just now who love dogs, and some who are missing their own dogs while they are in hospital.
“I thought it would brighten everyone’s day to enjoy a wee cuddle with Roxy and it’s been a huge success! It was lovely to see the smiles Roxy brought to our patients faces – she was so gentle with everyone.
“I’d like to thank Tina for bringing Roxy in today and she’s welcome back any time.”
