The results of the national Inpatient Experience Survey for 2018 are now available.
The Inpatient Experience Survey is a postal survey of a random sample of adults who had an overnight stay in hospital in Scotland between April and September 2017.
It covers six specific areas of inpatient experience: admission to hospital; the hospital and ward; care and treatment; hospital staff; arrangements for leaving hospital; and care and support services after leaving hospital.
The survey aims to help us understand more about the quality of services and what needs to be improved.
