Business support officer Glenda Edward put her running shoes on to raise more than £1600 for the Golden Jubilee Foundation.
Glenda, who is based in Perth & Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership, ran the Loch Ness Marathon in an impressive four hours and 28 minutes.
She decided to take on the challenge to thank staff at the Golden Jubilee Hospital in Clydebank after her son Sam had heart surgery there.
Glenda said, “I was bursting with pride as Sam showed bravery in the weeks before and throughout his time in hospital. I wanted to raise money to make him proud, and to also show our thanks to the dedicated team at the hospital who got Sam back on his feet and home just five days after his surgery.
“I am really grateful for everyone who has donated and we managed to raise £1661 for the hospital.”
