Chief Executive Malcolm Wright visited the Property Department to congratulate the staff on achieving quality accreditation.
The department received reaccreditation of the British Standards Institution ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Certification, which is recognised as the international benchmark for quality within an organisation. It is awarded to organisations that have quality management systems in place which demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services to meet customer and statutory and regulatory requirements.
Head of Property Department Mark Anderson said, “Everyone in the department has worked very hard to achieve this quality standard.
“Managing our business to an international standard on quality management integration has benefited our operational needs. We continually monitor and manage our systems through benchmarking for consistent performance and servicing.
“The Property Department is proud to be part of such a system in meeting our customer needs by making excellence part of our ‘business as usual’ processes.”
Malcolm Wright added, “I would like to congratulate everyone in the Property Department for their hard work and efforts to achieve this accreditation.
“This certification is testament to the work our staff carry out every day and demonstrates NHS Tayside’s commitment to continue to meet high standards in all of our services.”
