Members of the NHS Retirement Fellowship marked the 70th anniversary of the NHS with a celebratory lunch in Dundee.
Around 30 members attended the event, including two members who had started their nursing careers before the NHS began.
The NHS Retirement Fellowship meet on the 1st Thursday of each month in the Congregational Church Hall, Nicol Street, Dundee at 2 pm and new members are always welcome.
NHS Retirement Fellowship Scotland Vice Chairman Judith McMurray said, “We have a varied programme throughout the year with speakers, theatre outings, visits to places of interest and an annual summer outing. There is also a walking group who organise monthly walks.
“The fellowship is open to anyone who worked in the NHS or social care and is now retired and looking to meet up with old friends and make some new ones.”
