Professor Jeffrey H. Barsuk, MD, MS, SFHM is coming to Dundee on Wednesday, 15 August.
Jeff Barsuk and members of his Chicago based team that are synonymous with Simulation Based Mastery Learning will be holding a one day conference on ‘Mastery Learning’ and will attend Grand Rounds on Thursday, 16 August.
Jeff Barsuk is a Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Medical Education at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago
He currently serves as Associate Program Director in the Internal Medicine residency program and the Director of Simulation and Patient Safety
His team has published over 60 articles on simulation based mastery learning that demonstrate how this training approach improves clinical skills, and patient care and outcomes, while lowering healthcare costs. He has been given several national awards and is sought internationally to lecture on how the use of simulation-based medical education improves patient safety
