Staff and patients across Tayside took part in What Matters to You Day on 6 June 2018.
Stands were held in the main dining room and main concourse of Ninewells Hospital, where patients, visitors and more than 120 nurses, midwives and health care support workers were encouraged to share what mattered to them in the health and social care.
Many staff members shared what matters to them about being able to provide good nursing and midwifery care and developing as a profession in NHS Tayside.
What Matters to You Day is held annually to encourage and support more meaningful conversations between people who provide health and social care and the people, families and carers who receive health and social care.
The information collected on the day across Tayside will be used in the development of NHS Tayside’s nursing and midwifery strategy. Engagement with nurses and midwives across NHS Tayside has also begun and will continue until the end of July. There will be open events later in the year for all nurses and midwives to attend.
